Park Scooters at Mobility Hubs

You can park Spin scooters at Mobility Hubs -- we’re in the process of installing 50 Mobility Hubs around Pittsburgh.

When you park at these hubs, you can earn money off your next ride! They’re marked with a yellow Move PGH pin in the Transit app.

Park Scooters at Scooter Corrals

There are currently 110+ scooter corrals (or “scooter parking lots”): mostly downtown and in other business districts with lots of pedestrians.

Each of these scooter parking lots takes up less than half a parking space and can fit up to 10 scooters! So that means we now can park 20 vehicles in the amount of space previously used for just one! And parking in corrals helps keep our sidewalks clear!

Learn more about the inspiration behind the scooter corral program in this article from the Pittsburgh City Paper.

How to spot a Scooter Corral:

  • Corrals are located at the end of blocks

  • Most corrals are downtown and in business districts with lots of pedestrians

  • Look for the P parking symbol stenciled on the ground

  • Look for other scooters

Park Scooters in Legal Street Parking

You can park scooters in legal street parking in residential areas.

Park scooters in legal street parking with the handlebars facing the curb. It might seem odd at first, but it’s the right way to do it.

When parked correctly, scooters never take more than 20 inches of space at the curb (often less than 8 inches!).

In Downtown Pittsburgh, You Must Park in a Mobility Hub or Scooter Corral

Don’t forget: you must park scooters in corrals or Mobility Hubs when parking downtown.

You will not be able to end your scooter ride unless you are at a Mobility Hub or scooter corral when you’re downtown.

Be a Good Neighbor

It’s every (scooter) driver's responsibility to drive and park properly. Please do your part so each of us can safely access and enjoy all aspects of our city!

Pittsburgh residents (and friends) have already enjoyed over 250,000 scooter trips in less than three months! Just imagine the traffic and the headache looking for parking if those 250,000 scooter trips had been 250,000 single passenger car/truck trips!
